Safe@Last is a personal safety curriculum for K -6th grade students, giving children the tools they need to avoid dangerous situations by teaching personal boundaries and assertiveness skills. “Be.” is a sexual assault awareness curriculum designed for 7th, 9th, and 11th graders, focusing on promoting healthy relationships while giving teens resources to get help if they experience teen dating violence.

United Way support assists with regular and emergency housing repairs for low-income, elderly and disabled families to bring their homes up to decent, safe and sanitary levels. Funding is also leveraged to help with providing temporary, emergency shelter for income-qualified homeless families.
United Way of Williamson County – Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)
VITA trains volunteers to help low-income, elderly, disabled and limited-English-speaking clients prepare their basic tax returns. These volunteers are certified by the IRS to identify special credits that enable families and individuals to get the most out of their annual returns.

Meals on Wheels/Senior Dining:
Both café-style and home-delivered nutritious meals are provided to help older persons maintain dignity, restore and maintain good health, and help them remain in their own homes as long as possible.
Homemaker Program:
This program provides in-home services for elderly and disabled individuals to assist them in maintaining independence and preventing premature institutional placement. Services are also provided to families with children at risk of being placed in state custody, in order to create a safe environment and allow the family to remain intact when appropriate.

Advocates for residents of long-term care facilities work to resolve problems and to bring about improvements in care at all levels.

United Way also supports the Middle Tennessee’s Table program where perishable food from area establishments is harvested and distributed to local agencies to help serve the hungry.
Sexual Assault Center – Counseling, Crisis & Advocacy
Crisis intervention counseling is offered to individuals who have recently experienced rape or sexual abuse, or are currently in crisis from past abuse. Other ongoing individual and group counseling services are also available.
United Way of Williamson County -- The Williamson County Anti-Drug Coalition (WCADC)
The WCADC is dedicated to making parents aware of substance abuse among children ages 14 to 18 in Williamson County. The mission of the WCADC is to implement effective strategies that prevent substance abuse in Williamson County through building community partnerships. The WCADC also helps to educate parents about the Social Host Law by addressing the dangers and legal issues of providing alcohol to minors at social events.
